The site of the filming of the James Bond film, “The Spy who Loved Me”. It is the oldest mosque that has survived in its original form. It was built in 879 AD by the Ahmed ibn Tulun. Don’t forget to climb the minaret and get a fantastic view of the city of Cairo.
